Methodology
Our
offshore Programming model may comprise
of both onsite offsite and offshore components.
Since mostly all development initiatives/
project(s) under consideration will be executed
at multiple ends (in case there is an offshore
component), project management and planning
will be applied to both the onsite/ offsite
and offshore components.
We utilize several models for offshore programming
/ development.
Onsite
/ Offshore Programming Model
Where the Client requirement warrants the
presence of an onsite resource(s), Navo
will provide onsite resources that will
manage Analysis, Planning, Technical Architecture,
High-level Design, and Delivery activities
operating from the client site and coordinating
in turn with the second-tier Project Execution
Center.
The second-tier Project Execution Center
(PEC) stationed offshore in India will include
a development team headed by a Project Execution
Manager. The Project Execution team will
be involved in Detailed Design, Construction,
and Testing. The onsite resources of Navo
will co-ordinate all communication between
the client and the PEC.
Offsite
/ Offshore Programming Model
The first tier will include a Project Services
Center (PSC) based in the United States,
which will be the point-of-contact for the
client. The Project Services team, headed
by a Project Services Manager, will manage
Analysis, Planning, Technical Architecture,
High-level Design, and Delivery activities.
The second-tier Project Execution Center
(PEC) stationed offshore in India will include
a development team headed by a Project Execution
Manager. The Project Execution team will
be involved in Detailed Design, Construction,
and Testing. The PSC will co-ordinate all
communication between the client and the
PEC.
Project
initiation, planning, scope, risk, change,
and end-point delivery management are to
be handled at the PSC. Infrastructure, Resource,
configuration and execution management will
be handled at the PEC.
Pure Offshore Programming Model
In this model, the Project Services team
will handle the marketing efforts. The PEC/
Offshore programming / development team
will execute the entire Project Lifecycle.
Navo's Technology Lab on Hire concept best
illustrates this model. Using this approach
the client has a dedicated team of developers
working under the overall management and
guidance of the Clients Internal Team or
Client Project Manger. The team reports
internally to a project manager assigned
by Navo Systems and also reports on a daily
basis to the Client Project Manger managing
and coordinating execution of the project.
In
addition to the models provided above Navo's
team can work with a client in adapting
to any methodology recommend by the client.
By analyzing the Clients requirements Navo's
team can even come up with a proposal of
an offshore programming model that would
best suit the clients requirement.
